I am a seasoned storyteller who has advised some of the world's largest brands and emphasized the importance of global connections. With a distinguished career in design leadership, I have successfully guided renowned brands and earned a reputation as a positive influence in the business world, fostering strong bonds between people and the brands they cherish.

Being recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business for 2021, I have garnered numerous accolades for my creative prowess. As an award-winning design professional, mentor, speaker, author, and educator, I am deeply passionate about leveraging design to enhance every aspect of the human experience. I am committed to promoting diversity of thought within the design industry, advocating for inclusivity and ensuring that the brands and products we create resonate with the realities, lifestyles, and needs of individuals.

With extensive expertise spanning various sectors and industries, I have effectively led impactful design strategies and introduced numerous innovations to the market alongside my teams. My approach, centered on the human element and guided by design principles, has yielded significant outcomes, particularly within consumer goods, food and beverage, health and beauty, pet care, digital, and media domains.

Currently serving as the Head of Design for Personal Care, Home Care, and Tom's of Maine in North America at Colgate Palmolive, I possess a wide range of proficiencies, encompassing design leadership, human-centered design, innovation frameworks, user experience design, Voice of the Customer (VoC) research, brand and product strategy, product development, organizational leadership, and digital and media expertise.

Recognized as a global authority in my field, I have delivered impactful talks at conferences and events worldwide. Additionally, I am a published contributing author in "Brand Bible: The Complete Guide to Building, Designing, and Sustaining Brands." As a Global co-lead of the Royal Society of Arts Decolonizing Design Coalition, a board member of PPWLN (Professional Women's Leadership Network), and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, where I teach Design Leadership in their Master's program, I actively contribute to the advancement of design thinking and practices.

I hold Master's and B.F.A. degrees from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Engaging with various organizations, such as DMI (Design Management Institute), AIGA Women's Lead Initiative, IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America), and the Royal Society of Arts Decolonizing Design Coalition, I am deeply committed to social impact, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Based in the vibrant city of New York, my hometown, I am a mentor and provide support to organizations dedicated to the Fight Against Cancer, Youth Empowerment, and Animal Rescue causes.
